Les Volets Rouges gîtes - La Grange and La Forge - are set in a landscape that has long been recognised for its outstanding natural beauty. This is reflected in its status as a UNESCO world heritage site. The property lies at the centre of an area renowned for its wildlife, the numerous historic chateaux and its wonderful wines. There are many fabulous places to visit including the ancient abbey of Fontevraud, the medieval towns of Montsoreau and Candes St Martin as well as one of the world's top bioparks which can be found not far away in Douée La Fontaine.
